It was founded back in 1998 by Stéphane Eimer, and has significantly grown since then, both organically and through acquisitions.

Since the start of the COVID 19 pandemia, Biogroup has been very active and has demonstrated its entrepreneurial DNA and agility, being among the first to invest in testing capacities.

In October 2020, Biogroup acquired CMA Medina, the Belgian leader, thus becoming a significant European player.

It employs more than 10,000 staff with more than 1100 medical biologists.

1998:
Creation of the 1st laboratory by Stéphane Eimer in Alsace (France).

1999 – 2019:
Development in France mainly through external growth.

Expansion of the group into Europe.
